According to European media, RB Leipzig has lowered the selling price of Benjamin Sesko, thereby opening up a great opportunity for Arsenal to quench their thirst for a striker this summer.

Arsenal have a chance to complete the Sesko deal this summer.

Sesko has always been Arsenal's top target. However, Leipzig's price tag of 80-100 million euros has made the London team hesitate, forcing them to turn to other options such as Viktor Gyokeres.

However, the situation is different now. According to Bild , Leipzig is willing to sit down with a much softer price, around 70 million euros - a number that is considered reasonable compared to Sesko's potential and age.

Leipzig's move can be seen as an important turning point for the Gunners' plan to strengthen their attack, especially when coach Mikel Arteta openly desires to own a top-class striker capable of competing for the Premier League title.

The Slovenian striker had an impressive 2024/25 season with 21 goals in all competitions, despite being only 22 years old. In Arteta's eyes, Sesko is not only a current contract but also a long-term investment, because he is considered to be superior to Gyokeres in terms of age, development speed and experience in the Bundesliga - a tournament that is much more fierce than Portugal.

As for Sesko, he has made no secret of his desire to try his hand at the Premier League. A few days ago, Sesko publicly followed Arsenal on his personal page, sparking speculation about a potential deal.

After three consecutive seasons of finishing second in the Premier League, Arsenal are in dire need of a top-class striker to turn things around. Sesko promises to be the key to the Gunners' real quest for glory.
