The Vietnamese women's volleyball team will not be able to rest after defeating Thailand at the SEA V.League. Instead, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his players will return to Dong Anh ( Hanoi ) to continue training.
At the end of August, they will compete in the Women's Volleyball World Championship in Thailand. Therefore, preparations are now entering the final stage.
In addition to training, the team will also have the opportunity to compete in friendly matches with quality teams. Specifically, from August 16 to 18, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will compete with Kenya and Spain.
Kenya is in Group G with the Vietnamese women's volleyball team at the upcoming world championship. They are a team with many quality players and have won the African championship many times.
In the current world rankings, Kenya is ranked 23rd, just one place below Vietnam. This ranking is for reference only because the two teams have not had the opportunity to face each other. But it also suggests that the Vietnamese and Kenyan women's volleyball teams are quite evenly matched.
It is not excluded that the result of the upcoming friendly match will also be the result between the two teams in the World Championship.
Meanwhile, Spain is not very famous for volleyball. However, they often participate in European tournaments and compete with many strong countries such as Poland, Italy, France... With their rich experience, Spain is still a reasonable test for coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's team.
