Previously, according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, all admitted candidates (including those admitted directly) must confirm their admission online before 5:00 p.m. on August 30 if they wish to study. In case of failure to confirm and without a valid reason, the admission results will be canceled.

Thus, the time for candidates to confirm their admission is "extended" by 3 days. This is said to be to create conditions for candidates to have more time to confirm their admission on the system.

However, in recent days, during the admission process, some training institutions have made errors in data processing. Regarding this issue, the Ministry of Education and Training said that this year, with a huge amount of data, along with diverse admission methods and conditions of universities and colleges, the total number of wishes the system has to process is up to 50 million wishes. Therefore, errors are inevitable but at a small rate.

The schools will be responsible for resolving the errors. The Ministry of Education and Training will support, guide and direct other universities to coordinate the handling.
