Time to cancel university admission results if candidates do not do this

Candidates admitted to university must confirm their admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's general admission system before 5:00 p.m. on August 30, otherwise their results will be canceled.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, before 5:00 p.m. on August 30, all admitted candidates (including direct admission candidates) are required to confirm their admission online on the Ministry's common system at: http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn.

If this is not done on time, the candidate's admission results will be cancelled.

To confirm admission, candidates follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to the system with your personal identification number, login code, and confirmation code.

Step 2: Go to "Look up admission results" to check the "Pass" or "Fail" results of each wish.

Step 3: If the result is "Pass", click "Confirm admission" and click "Agree".

Step 4: Check the status displayed "Enrolled" - which means successful confirmation.

Please note that after confirming admission, candidates cannot cancel directly on the system. If they want to withdraw their application, they must contact the university for consideration.

Candidates need to follow the specific requirements of each school.

In addition to the general regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates should note that training institutions may have additional requirements.

Some schools require successful candidates to complete additional steps such as: Declare information online on the school's own system and enroll directly according to the announced schedule. If not completed within 15 days from the date of enrollment without a valid reason, the school will remove the name from the list of successful candidates.

For example, at Hanoi National University of Education, after 5:00 p.m. on August 26, if a candidate has not confirmed his/her enrollment on the Ministry of Education and Training's system, he/she cannot enroll online on the school's system. Hanoi National University of Education said that for candidates who do not enroll within the prescribed time limit, without a valid reason, it will be considered a refusal to enroll and the school has the right to not accept them.

From September 1, universities can consider additional admissions if there are still vacancies. Candidates who need additional admissions should follow the admissions information on the school's website.

This year, 849,544 candidates registered for admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's system, with a total of more than 7.6 million wishes; accordingly, each candidate registered an average of about 9 wishes.

Sharing with VietNamNet , a representative of the Ministry of Education and Training said that as of the afternoon of August 29, 606,206 candidates had confirmed their enrollment on the Ministry of Education and Training's system.
