Binh Dinh ranked first in the industry and trade emulation of the South Central Coastal Provinces Cluster in 2024.

On May 14, 2024, the Minister of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1160 on recognizing block leaders, deputy block leaders, cluster leaders, deputy cluster leaders of emulation blocks and clusters of the industry and trade sector in 2024.

Accordingly, the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Nam province was assigned as the Head of the Cluster and the Department of Industry and Trade of Khanh Hoa province as the Deputy Head of the Emulation Cluster of the South Central Coast provinces in 2024 (including 6 provinces and cities of Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa).

After a year of launching the emulation campaign, the industrial production and commercial business situation of most member departments in the emulation cluster has had positive growth and recovery compared to the same period.

Specifically, regarding the industrial production index, data shows that in 2024, Quang Nam increased by 17.6%; Da Nang increased by 6.65%; Quang Ngai increased by 2.3%; Binh Dinh increased by 10%; Phu Yen increased by 8.8%; Khanh Hoa increased by 27.15%.

Regarding export turnover, Quang Nam increased by 15.17%; Da Nang increased by 3.2%; Quang Ngai increased by 17%; Binh Dinh increased by 7.8%; Phu Yen increased by 18.9%; Khanh Hoa increased by 14.16%.

Regarding trade and services, Quang Nam increased by 7.4%; Da Nang increased by 15%; Quang Ngai increased by 8.4%; Binh Dinh increased by 12%; Phu Yen increased by 11.5%; Khanh Hoa increased by 13.33%.

The results of the total emulation scores of member units of the Emulation Cluster of the South Central Coast provinces in 2024, all 6 member units were ranked excellent (scoring 90 points or more). Of which, the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Dinh province ranked first; the Department of Industry and Trade of Khanh Hoa province ranked second; the Department of Industry and Trade of Phu Yen province ranked third.

The Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Nam province has proposed to award the Certificate of Merit of the Minister of Industry and Trade in 2024 to the Department of Industry and Trade of Khanh Hoa province and the Department of Industry and Trade of Phu Yen province, two units that basically meet all the prescribed standards and conditions, including having a high total score; industrial production index, total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue, and export turnover growth rate all reaching...

On this occasion, the conference also unanimously elected Khanh Hoa Department of Industry and Trade as Cluster Head and Binh Dinh Department of Industry and Trade as Deputy Cluster Head of the South Central Coastal Provinces Emulation Cluster in 2025.
