Binh Dinh will set off fireworks to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the province's liberation.

(CLO) To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the province's Liberation Day, Binh Dinh plans to organize fireworks displays in Hoai Nhon town and Quy Nhon city.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Binh Dinh Province (March 31, 1975 - March 31, 2025), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DCT) has proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to recommend the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to allow the organization of high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks displays in Hoai Nhon town and Quy Nhon city.

Accordingly, in Hoai Nhon town, the fireworks display will take place after the 50th Anniversary of the town's Liberation Day (March 28, 1975 - March 28, 2025), with 150 low-altitude fireworks displays, lasting no more than 15 minutes, scheduled at 9:00 p.m. on March 27 at Hoai Nhon Square.

In Quy Nhon City, after the special epic art program with the theme "Binh Dinh - Pride and Aspiration", the province organized the firing of 150 low-altitude fireworks and 800 high-altitude fireworks, scheduled to take place from 9:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. on March 30 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square.

This large-scale art program recreates the heroic history of the martial arts land of Binh Dinh, where the tradition of patriotism, martial spirit and uprising spirit from the Tay Son movement to two great resistance wars crystallized.

At the same time, the program also praised the province's outstanding development achievements since the country's reunification, contributing to arousing the spirit of solidarity and self-reliance of Binh Dinh people in the new era - the era of national growth.
