Thai Nguyen Newspaper: Steadfast on the front line of information, innovation for the people

On June 25, Thai Nguyen Newspaper held a conference to review Party work and professional work in the first 6 months of 2025, and deploy directions and tasks for the last 6 months of the year. The conference took place in a special context when the unit is implementing a roadmap to merge with the press agencies of Bac Kan and Thai Nguyen provinces.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Party Committee of Thai Nguyen Newspaper effectively organized political and ideological education work, promptly disseminated and implemented resolutions and directives of the Central and Provincial Party Committees to all cadres, party members and workers. The study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in 2025 was organized systematically and extensively, each cadre and party member developed a specific plan associated with assigned tasks.

Notably, the Party Committee successfully organized the congresses of Party cells for the 2025-2027 term, completing the preparation and organization of the 22nd Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Along with that, steps were taken to prepare personnel and documents to serve the work of merging and consolidating the press agencies of the two provinces under the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, demonstrating initiative and a high sense of responsibility.

Regarding professional work, Thai Nguyen Newspaper has made efforts to overcome difficulties, strongly innovate the content and form of propaganda in both print and electronic newspapers and digital platforms. Specifically, Thai Nguyen Newspaper published over 3,240 news, articles and photos in print newspapers and over 7,200 news, articles and photos in electronic newspapers. Press products focus on effectively propagating the leadership, direction and operation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee in all fields; Party building work, ensuring political security, social order and safety; new rural construction program, digital transformation, administrative reform and many other major contents related to social life.

The Editorial Board has directed the publication of special publications with strong imprints, deep thoughts and high propaganda value such as: Lunar New Year issue At Ty 2025, special issues commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national reunification with the theme "50 years of the country full of joy", welcoming the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day with the theme "Press in the era of growth".

Along with the printed newspaper, Thai Nguyen Electronic Newspaper continues to be a highlight in propaganda work with more than 40 columns updating news 24/24, attracting an average of over 20 thousand visits per day. Specialized programs and bulletins such as: "24-hour news", "Security and order bulletin", "Daily news podcast", "Thai Nguyen weather bulletin", especially "Thai Nguyen economic bulletin" broadcast every Sunday have created a unique style, helping readers access information quickly, accurately and vividly. Notably, in June 2025, the program "Podcast I 20" was officially launched, broadcast at 8:00 p.m. every Tuesday on the Electronic Newspaper and the Newspaper's social networking platforms.

Thai Nguyen Newspaper TikTok currently has more than 300.7 thousand followers, 4.7 million likes; the Fanpage attracts over 83,000 followers and Zalo has over 16,500 regular followers...

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Son, Party Secretary and Editor-in-Chief of Thai Nguyen Newspaper affirmed: Despite changes in organization and apparatus in the coming time, the task of propaganda, development of printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, social networking platforms to bring information to cadres, party members, and people inside and outside the province is always put on top. The closer the time the new apparatus comes into operation, the more urgent the information task becomes, requiring cadres, reporters, and editors to be sensitive, timely, quickly grasp information, and complete assigned tasks well.
