Truong Hai Group starts construction of 8,000 billion VND project in Nui Thanh

DNO - On the morning of August 28, Truong Hai Group Corporation (THACO) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Chu Lai - Truong Hai Automobile Mechanical Industrial Park (expansion) project in Nui Thanh commune. Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Da Nang City Nguyen Duc Dung; Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thai Binh attended.

Chu Lai - Truong Hai Automobile Mechanical Industrial Park (expanded) is the center, playing the role of connecting mechanical products, spare parts from existing factories, creating products, automation equipment, smart control and high-tech products.

The industrial park is planned on an area of ​​115 hectares, with a total investment of nearly VND 8,000 billion (of which VND 1,433 billion is for infrastructure construction). The project is invested in a new generation industrial park model, green development, automation, smart, modern, integrating digital technology and artificial intelligence.

Main investment items include: new generation spare parts factories producing electronic circuit boards, components, smart electrical and electronic equipment; factories manufacturing and assembling mechanical - electronic and automation equipment such as robots, AGV self-propelled equipment, AMR, 3D printing equipment, new generation CNC equipment, light civil aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles...

All activities at the center are carried out in a closed process that meets international standards and specific customer requirements.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tue, Deputy General Director of THACO said: “In addition to manufacturing high-tech products, the expanded mechanical center also uses some output products of Da Nang High-Tech Park, creating an integrated and complementary ecosystem, contributing to making Da Nang one of the high-tech and supporting industry centers of the country according to the city's development plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050”.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thai Binh expected that when completed and put into operation, Chu Lai - Truong Hai Automobile Mechanical Industrial Park (expansion) will create room to attract new investment in the fields of mechanics, automobiles, components, industrial equipment, electrical equipment, smart electronics, supporting industries, etc., contributing to increasing the scale of production, export, promoting port services, logistics in Ky Ha - Chu Lai.

The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested that departments, branches, and local authorities continue to accompany and remove procedures on investment, land, construction, environment, and support site clearance according to regulations. People in the project area continue to support investors to benefit from the infrastructure, jobs, and services that the project brings.
