Inauguration and handover of 27 houses to poor households in Kim Ngan commune

QTO - On August 28, Lang Ho Border Post (Provincial Border Guard Command) coordinated with Kim Ngan commune to organize the inauguration ceremony and hand over 27 houses to poor households in Ho Rum village.

Accordingly, implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households in ethnic minority areas in the border area, with the spirit of "leaving no one behind", with the support of the Provincial Border Guard, along with the cooperation and contribution of agencies, units, businesses, and philanthropists, after more than 3 months of construction, 27 houses with a support cost of more than 2.4 billion VND were handed over to poor households in Ho Rum village.

Chairman of Kim Ngan Commune People's Committee Dang Van Duong said that despite many difficulties in terms of geographical conditions, traffic routes, and unfavorable weather, especially when the project was being implemented at a time when the whole country was implementing the 2-level local government model, there were some impacts on the disbursement procedures of funding sources. However, the construction forces have accelerated the progress in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister , completing the project before August 31, 2025.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Border Guard Command presented 27 gifts to 27 households receiving support to build houses, each gift worth over 1 million VND.
