Lang Son participates in the Vietnam - China Border Tourism Ambassador Contest 2025

- During 2 days (August 27-28, 2025), in Pingxiang town, Guangxi, China, the Vietnam - China Border Tourism Ambassador Competition 2025 took place. This is an event within the framework of the China - Vietnam Border Tourism Festival 2025 and the ASEAN - China Import-Export Trade Fair 2025. The event was organized by the People's Government of Pingxiang town, Guangxi, China in coordination with the People's Committee of Lang Son province.

The contest had 36 contestants, including 15 contestants from Lang Son province, Vietnam and 21 contestants from Pingxiang town, China. Here, the contestants went through 3 rounds: Personal introduction, presentation about a tourist destination, and talent performance.

The organizers awarded first prize to outstanding contestants participating in the competition.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 22 prizes to the contestants with outstanding achievements (including 4 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 4 third prizes and 10 thematic prizes). Of which, 2 contestants from Lang Son won first prizes in the competition: Pham Nguyen Bao Ngoc, currently a student at the British University Vietnam, Hanoi and Nguyen The Tung, currently a tour guide.

The organizers awarded second prizes to outstanding contestants participating in the contest.

Through the contest, it contributes to enhancing cultural exchange and promoting the image of Lang Son as an attractive and friendly destination, opening up new cooperation opportunities between the two countries. At the same time, the contest has become an effective bridge, strengthening friendship and promoting sustainable tourism development in the region.
