Social Insurance of Region XXXIV said that the reform of administrative procedures has always been focused on and promoted. Administrative procedures are regularly reviewed, proposed to be simplified, and minimized in terms of processes, procedures, documents, forms, records, and implementation time. Effective application of digital technology , implementation according to the administrative procedure process on the basis of connection and information sharing between databases to reduce costs, creating maximum convenience for people and businesses when transacting with Social Insurance.

In Kien Giang province, the "one-stop" department has been directed to receive dossiers through direct receipt, through the Public Postal Service, through the National Public Service Portal, through the VssID application, through electronic transactions... to monitor and process dossiers promptly, and return results according to regulations. Urge collection units and services to perform electronic transactions. As a result, in May 2025, the whole province received 25,080 dossiers, and resolved 17,854/19,447 resolved dossiers on time. Regularly urge and remind affiliated units to resolve dossiers to limit late dossiers.

In An Giang province, the total number of received records is 142,728 records. The total number of records returned in the month is 140,006 records. The number of records performing electronic transaction declaration compared to the total number of received records is 123,176/131,979 records, reaching 93.33%. The total number of records received under the one-stop mechanism is 2,226 records. Accumulated to the end of May 2025, 657,887 records have been received and 655,165 records have been returned. Application of information technology, digital transformation

In Kien Giang province, efforts are being made to update and supplement the citizen identification numbers of participants into the database managed by Vietnam Social Security. The number of verifications with the National Population Database by May 2025 is 1,514,516/1,520,183 participants, reaching 99.63%. The whole province has 189/189 medical examination and treatment facilities looking up citizen identification numbers for medical examination and treatment, reaching 100%, with the number of lookups of 3,802,160 times.

In An Giang province, data of participants in 2025 has been updated and standardized; information technology equipment has been reviewed; coordinated review, update and authentication of personal identification numbers/citizen identification cards between the National Population Database and data under management by the industry. As of May 31, 2025, 1,639,366/1,651,464 participants were authenticated correctly with the National Population Database, reaching a rate of 99.27%. Coordinated implementation of the use of citizen identification cards and national electronic identification application (VNeID) to serve people going to health insurance for examination and treatment. Widely deployed features and utilities of the VssID application - Social Insurance number. As of May 2025, there were 4,182 registrations; Accumulated from 2021 to the end of May 2025, there were 937,876 registrations.

Social Insurance of Region XXXIV has implemented a plan to implement information technology and digital transformation from now until the end of 2025. The goal is to promote digital transformation, apply science - technology and innovation in management, service provision and operation of the social insurance system, ensuring the rights of participants and beneficiaries of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance. Promote the implementation of administrative procedures in the electronic environment, effectively implement administrative procedure reform and national digital transformation.

Specifically, organize the arrangement of IT infrastructure and accounts; standardize and synchronize data: Ensure that 100% of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance participants have operations on the management system, and their personal identification numbers/citizen identification cards are authenticated with the National Database. Complete the target: Over 50% of people participating have VssID accounts, over 92% pay through urban accounts.
