On the morning of June 24, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung chaired the Conference to announce the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on reorganizing the Provincial Inspectorate and the decision of the Provincial People's Committee on adjusting the 2025 civil servant payroll for the Provincial Inspectorate.

Specifically, Resolution 204/NQ-HDND of the An Giang Provincial People's Council resolved to reorganize the An Giang Provincial Inspectorate on the basis of receiving inspectors under the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities and inspectorates of departments under specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee.

The Provincial Inspectorate is a specialized agency under the Provincial People's Committee, has legal status, its own seal and financial resources; is subject to the direction and management of the Provincial People's Committee in terms of organization, staffing and work and is subject to the direction of inspection work and professional guidance of the Government Inspectorate .

The People's Committee of An Giang province issued Decision 1037/QD-UBND adjusting the 2025 civil servant payroll in agencies under the management of the Provincial People's Committee to reorganize the An Giang Provincial Inspectorate system. Specifically, the number of civil servants in 10 specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee and 8 People's Committees of districts, towns and cities will be reduced by 57. At the same time, the number of civil servants in the An Giang Provincial Inspectorate will be increased by 57. The adjusted payroll of the An Giang Provincial Inspectorate is 101.

Speaking at the conference, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung requested that civil servants of the provincial Inspectorate continue to improve their professional qualifications and skills; practice ethics and lifestyle, and resolutely fight against negative manifestations in the inspection field.
