The Party Executive Committee of An Bien Ward met to discuss issues under its authority after the administrative unit arrangement.

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of June 30, the Party Executive Committee of An Bien Ward held the first meeting to discuss issues under its authority. Comrade Nguyen Van Thanh, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Ward People's Council chaired the meeting.

At the Conference, delegates focused on discussing and giving comments on a number of important contents, including: draft Working Regulations of the Ward Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term; draft Working Regulations of the Ward Party Inspection Committee for the 2025-2030 term; plan to establish party organizations under the Ward Party Committee; draft Plan to establish a specialized agency to advise and assist the Ward Party Committee.

The conference also reviewed and commented on the draft Project to establish specialized departments and Public Service Centers under the Ward People's Committee; the establishment of committees under the Ward People's Council to perfect the organizational apparatus, effectively serving the leadership, management and operation work in the locality in the new period.

The conference demonstrated the sense of responsibility and concentration of the delegates' intelligence in contributing to building and perfecting the political and administrative apparatus in An Bien ward; affirming the determination to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, and innovation in leadership and direction to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out during the term, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new situation.

An Bien Ward merged with the entire An Duong Ward and a part of An Bien Ward (old Lam Son Ward and a part of old Cat Dai Ward in Cau Quay area), a part of Tran Nguyen Han Ward (most of the old Tran Nguyen Han Ward) and most of Vinh Niem Ward (except for the area east of Vo Nguyen Giap Street). The working headquarters of the Ward Party Committee is at 194 Ton Duc Thang; the headquarters of the People's Council and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward are at 280 Tran Nguyen Han; the headquarters of the Ward People's Committee and the Ward Public Administration Service Center are at 387 Thien Loi./.
