By 4:00 p.m. on August 26, authorities recorded two landslides in Dai Son commune on provincial road 291C through Dong Bam village and the road from Dong Muong village to Dong Cao village. The road to the center of An Lac commune People's Committee (old) had two landslides, about 500 cubic meters of rock and soil spilled onto the road, causing obstacles to traffic and daily life of the people. In addition, heavy rain caused some rice and crop areas of people in An Lac, Truong Son, Bac Lung communes and Tan An ward... to be flooded.

By the afternoon of August 26, landslides and rockslides had been leveled and temporarily repaired. For areas that were still flooded, local authorities continued to post warning signs, sent guards, diverted traffic, and guided people to move in other directions to ensure safety.

However, most of the damaged areas this time are mountainous communes, highlands, which were affected by the flood that occurred a few days before, so the work of overcoming the damage, restoring production, and stabilizing life will take a long time.

It is forecasted that on the night of August 26 and the morning of August 27, Bac Ninh province will continue to have rain. Floods on Thuong River and Luc Nam River will continue to be high. Floods on Cau River and Duong River will be below alert level 1. Communes and wards continue to direct villages to closely monitor the weather situation; collect statistics on damage to crops, plants, livestock, houses, landslide risk areas, etc. to promptly synthesize and report to the Provincial People's Committee.
