He was simple in life, exemplary in morality, profound in thinking, close to the People and especially had immense love for his compatriots and comrades. President Ho Chi Minh's love for humanity and the People was deeply expressed through every word, action and even in his sacred Testament.

It is an honor and pride for the people of Bac Kan that during the pre-uprising period and the years of resistance against the French, beloved President Ho Chi Minh came to live and carry out revolutionary activities in almost all localities. "There was an old man walking barefoot,

Wearing Nung clothes,

Hand holding a rattan stick,

Mouth holding a smokeless cigarette,

Long beard, both white and black,

Agile like a young man...

The old man smiled and waved to the person waiting to greet him.

He said, people heard every word clearly –

"Want the revolution to succeed quickly!

We must unite like a bundle of chopsticks...!”.”

(The old man's army - Nong Quoc Chan)
