Domestic pepper price

Pepper prices today in key growing areas continued to fall compared to yesterday. As a result, the domestic pepper price level is from 123,000 VND/kg to 125,000 VND/kg.

In the Central Highlands region, pepper price today in Dak Lak decreased sharply by 4,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 125,000 VND/kg.

Pepper price today in Gia Lai decreased by 4,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 123,000 VND/kg.

Pepper price today in Dak Nong decreased by 3,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 125,000 VND/kg.

In the Southeast region, pepper price today in Ba Ria - Vung Tau is currently at 123,000 VND/kg, down 5,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Dong Nai decreased 5,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday at 123,000 VND/kg.

In addition, pepper price today in Binh Phuoc decreased by 5,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 123,000 VND/kg.

Pepper price today June 21, 2025: Continue to fall sharply

According to preliminary data from the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA), in the first 17 days of June 2025, Vietnam exported 11,721 tons of pepper, reaching a turnover of 79.1 million USD. China unexpectedly surpassed the US to become the largest pepper import market during this period.

Specifically, exports to China reached 1,904 tons, slightly higher than the 1,785 tons exported to the US. This development shows that China is becoming a bright spot in the context of slowing exports to the US due to concerns about tariff barriers.

The largest exporters include Nedspice Vietnam (1,016 tons), Olam Vietnam (804 tons) and Simexco Dak Lak (800 tons).

On the other hand, Vietnam also imported 3,711 tons of pepper with a turnover of 22.2 million USD. Brazil and Cambodia continued to be the two main suppliers, accounting for 1,783 tons and 1,339 tons, respectively. Olam Vietnam, Gia Vien Viet Nam and Simexco Dak Lak were the main importers during the period.

Pepper price today June 21 in the world market

In the world market, based on quotes from export enterprises and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) has updated the prices of all types of pepper traded in the international market on June 20 (local time) as follows:

Indonesian Lampung black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $7,461 per tonne. Meanwhile, Muntok white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at $10,079 per tonne.

Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices were unchanged from yesterday at $6,050/mt.

Malaysia's ASTA black pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,000/ton. Meanwhile, the country's ASTA white pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $11,750/ton.

Prices of all types of pepper in Vietnam remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Of which, the price of 500 gr/l black pepper in Vietnam reached 6,000 USD/ton; 550 gr/l reached 6,100 USD/ton.

Similarly, Vietnam's white pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,000/ton.
