Bac Giang: 117 businesses get land rent reduction

BAC GIANG - Implementing Decree No. 87/2025/ND-CP of the Government regulating the reduction of land rent in 2024, up to now, through reviewing and appraising documents, the Tax Department of Region VI has reduced land rent for 117 enterprises in Bac Giang province.

The above Decree stipulates that enterprises that are directly leasing land from the State, effective in 2024 in the form of annual payments, will have their land rent reduced. Specifically, the reduction is 30% of the land rent payable in 2024. Through the review of the tax authority, the whole province has 406 enterprises that have had their land rent reduced with a total amount of nearly 44 billion VND.

Officers of the Bac Giang City Tax Team reviewed documents to reduce land rent for businesses.

Of these, 117 enterprises have had their land rent reduced by more than 15.3 billion VND. Some enterprises have had their land rent reduced significantly, such as: Bac Giang Road Joint Stock Company reduced by more than 102 million VND on a land lease area of ​​more than 2.3 thousand m2; Bac Giang Waterway Transport Joint Stock Company reduced by nearly 34 million VND on a land lease area of ​​nearly 2.6 thousand m2; Bac Giang Printing Joint Stock Company reduced by more than 21 million VND on a land lease area of ​​nearly 2.4 thousand m2...

The representative of the Tax Department of Region VI said that to receive a reduction in land rent, businesses need to complete the application and send it to the tax authority before July 31, 2025. At the same time, they must be responsible before the law for the truthfulness and accuracy of the information requested for land rent reduction.
