At around 1:30 p.m. on July 30, a murder occurred at a shopping mall in Ha Huy Tap ward ( Ha Tinh city).
The victim was identified as Mr. SE (born in 1971, Turkish nationality). Immediately after the murder, the police force in Ha Tinh arrested the suspect, identifying the perpetrator as Tran Van Son (born in 1999, residing in Duc Tho district).
The initial cause was determined, that same morning, Tran Van Son entered the supermarket area at the Trade Center to steal things and was discovered by the security guard. After that, Son stole a knife from a meat counter and returned to the trade center with the intention of taking revenge on the security guard there.
However, due to not being able to carry out the act, while running away from the shopping mall, Son stabbed the foreign man to death and then went to the police station to surrender.
The case is under investigation and clarification.
