Khanh Hoa province has just issued a plan to arrange the administrative apparatus at the grassroots level, including 426 schools at all levels and over 12,530 people on the current education staff in districts, towns and cities.

On June 23, Director of Khanh Hoa Province Department of Education and Training Vo Hoan Hai informed Tuoi Tre Online about the province's arrangement plan for officials, civil servants, and public employees of education and training departments in districts, towns, and cities that are about to end their operations, when the 2-level government model of Khanh Hoa province begins operating from July 1.

According to the plan, the two-level government apparatus of the new Khanh Hoa province (based on the merger of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces) will officially operate from July 1, 2025.

Therefore, according to Mr. Hai, the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province (new) will soon receive an additional 30 cadres, civil servants and public employees from the current Department of Education and Training of Ninh Thuan province.

For the 8 departments of education and training in districts, towns and cities of Khanh Hoa province, they will currently "complete their historical roles and tasks" according to the end of district-level government operations from July 1, 2025.

Regarding the principles of arranging the administrative apparatus at the grassroots level of Khanh Hoa province that have just been issued, for basic and essential public services that are responsible for serving the people and directly solving community issues, research and build a model under the management of the People's Committee at the commune level.

Accordingly, cadres, civil servants and public employees who meet the prescribed standards and belong to current district-level professional departments will be assigned and assigned appropriate positions, titles and job positions in commune-level administrative units after the arrangement.

Mr. Vo Hoan Hai said that according to the province's policy of arranging cadres, 3 heads of the Department of Education and Training of Nha Trang City, Cam Ranh City and Dien Khanh District were arranged and assigned as vice chairmen of the People's Committees of new wards and communes.

The remaining officials and civil servants (specialists) of the education and training departments will be assigned and assigned jobs at the cultural and social departments of the People's Committees of the new communes and wards.

How are over 12,530 education officials at 426 schools in Khanh Hoa arranged?

Currently, Khanh Hoa province has 426 schools of all levels under the Department of Education and Training and the People's Committees of 8 districts, towns and cities.

Of these, there are 157 kindergartens, 146 primary schools, 119 secondary schools and 4 secondary boarding schools for ethnic minorities.

Regarding the arrangement plan of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, for public units in the education sector, they will be temporarily divided according to management areas to be transferred to local authorities, maintaining the current number.

After stabilization, make arrangements to ensure the number of classes and students according to current guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training, and at the same time be suitable to the actual situation in the locality.

Specifically, among the 426 schools at all levels mentioned above, there are 4 ethnic minority boarding secondary schools under the People's Committee of Cam Ranh City, Ninh Hoa Town and Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh districts, along with a total of 91 people on the educational payroll at these schools, all of whom will be transferred to the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province.

The remaining 422 kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools, along with 12,440 education officials at the schools, will be assigned to new communes and wards according to the existing school areas.

Regarding education officials, the new wards in Nha Trang City will currently receive 3,442 people (at public kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools in the area).

The number of education officials at schools that will be transferred to the new commune and ward payrolls in Cam Ranh City is currently 1,454 people, and in Ninh Hoa town is currently 2,288 people;

In the districts of Dien Khanh, there are currently 1,346 people, Cam Lam has 1,255 people, Van Ninh has 1,382 people, Khanh Vinh has 759 people, Khanh Son has 506 people and will transfer 8 education officials from Truong Sa special zone.

Which new ward and commune in Khanh Hoa has the most and the fewest schools?

According to the above arrangement plan, the new ward of Khanh Hoa province will have the largest number of public schools, Nha Trang ward, with a total of 33 schools (including 13 kindergartens, 13 primary schools and 7 secondary schools).

The area in Khanh Hoa province with the least number of schools is the new Cam Hiep commune (in the current Cam Lam district) with only 2 public schools (including 1 kindergarten and 1 primary school).
