Thousands of suspected counterfeit Crocs products in Nha Trang

Market management forces in Khanh Hoa have just discovered thousands of pairs of sandals suspected of counterfeiting the Crocs brand on sale at a store in Nha Trang.

On the evening of August 25, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , the leader of Market Management Team No. 8 ( Khanh Hoa Province Market Management Department) said that this unit had just discovered thousands of pairs of sandals suspected of counterfeiting the Crocs brand.

On the same afternoon, this unit conducted a surprise inspection of a shoe store on Nguyen Thien Thuat Street (Nha Trang Ward), discovering nearly 3,000 pairs of sandals suspected of counterfeiting the Crocs brand, with a total value of more than 200 million VND.

At the time of inspection, the store owner could not present invoices, documents and origin.

Market management team No. 8 has drawn up a record and temporarily detained all of the above mentioned sandals, and sent samples for appraisal to the trademark protection agency.

Previously, on August 24, Market Management Team No. 8 inspected another store also on Nguyen Thien Thuat Street and discovered 66 products including: handbags, t-shirts, scarves with signs of counterfeiting the Chanel brand.

The authorities then drew up a record, temporarily seized the evidence and are completing the handling procedures in accordance with the law.
