Research published on Harvard Health Publishing (USA) said Standing up and doing light exercise every 30-60 minutes helps improve blood circulation, reduce muscle tension and increase alertness, according to the health website Healthline (USA),

Simple movements such as walking around the office, rotating your wrists, ankles or stretching can be done easily without affecting your work. This habit also helps reduce the risk of neck and shoulder pain syndrome, a common disease among office workers.

In addition, light exercise also helps stimulate digestion, reduce fatigue and maintain energy throughout the working day.

Drink enough water

The human body needs water to maintain all life activities, especially when doing mental work.
