Incident occurred at Cau Ho spillway, Mau Lam commune

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - According to the Civil Defense Command of Mau Lam commune, due to the impact of storm No. 5 causing heavy rain and flooding in the area, the Cau Ho spillway was eroded by water, with frog pits forming under the spillway. At the same time, there was an incident of the spillway surface breaking.

Mau Lam commune inspected and implemented a road closure at Cau Ho spillway to ensure safety.

According to initial information, the spillway surface rupture appeared on August 29, with an area of ​​2m wide and more than 10m long, posing a danger to people and vehicles passing by.

Currently, Mau Lam commune has directed the authorities to temporarily close the road to ensure the safety of people and vehicles. At the same time, it has announced the incident and requested remedial measures to avoid any unfortunate accidents that may occur.
