The Border Guard Command (BĐBP), the Border Guard Command of Quang Binh province has just chaired and coordinated with the People's Committee of Bo Trach district and departments, branches, unions, organizations, and philanthropists to organize the program "Border Spring - Warming the hearts of the villagers" in the border commune of Thuong Trach with many rich and practical activities.
The program includes a series of activities such as: Offering incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs; free medical examination and medicine distribution to people; organizing folk games, the "Border Pulling Hand" model, the "Green Banh Chung" Festival; supporting livelihood models for Women's Union members and organizing "Meals for Children"; "0 VND" Tet market; inaugurating and presenting "Great Solidarity House"; giving Tet gifts to local people and visiting and wishing Tet to Party committees, authorities, agencies, units, officers and soldiers of the armed forces on duty ready to fight in the area.

Specifically, the Program presented 20 Great Solidarity houses, 1,168 gifts; 400 pairs of banh chung; 02 livelihood models; 20 wardrobes; 50 sets of blankets, pillows, mattresses... organized health check-ups, consultations, and provided free medicine to more than 300 people. The total value of activities and gifts in the program was up to 3.5 billion VND.

Speaking at the Program, Secretary of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang highly appreciated the comprehensive and humane activities with diverse contents and forms at the Program "Border Spring - Warming the hearts of the villagers" which have contributed to both taking care of building the grassroots political system and improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

The program "Spring Border Guard - Warming the hearts of the villagers" is an annual activity, a cultural feature, a spiritual food every time Tet comes, organized by the Border Guard force in coordination with all levels, sectors, organizations, and philanthropists across all border areas of the Fatherland.
