A young man was sentenced to murder after a fight in a billiard hall.

On the afternoon of August 24, the People's Court of Da Nang City opened a trial for Tran Ba Nha (30 years old), Tran Duc Huy (29 years old), both residing in Hoa Khanh Nam ward, Lien Chieu district, Da Nang, and Le Phuoc Bao (29 years old, residing in Loc Thuy commune, Phu Loc district, Thua Thien-Hue province) for the crime of "Murder".

According to the indictment, at around 8:00 p.m. on June 14, 2022, while playing billiards at The King (Hoa Khanh Bac ward, Lien Chieu district), Tran Ba Nha went to the restroom and saw Doan Cong Son (23 years old, residing in Que Son, Quang Nam ) teasing Ms. Le Ngoc Khanh Vy (an employee of the shop), so he intervened.

Nha offended Son so the two of them argued with each other but Vy stopped them and each went back to their own table.

Because he was angry with Nha's words, Son invited his friend Bui Thanh Long (living in Hoa Khanh Nam ward, Lien Chieu district) to Nha's table to talk. At this time, Nha apologized and shook hands to reconcile, so Son let it go.

Even though she reconciled with Son, when she got home, Nha took two homemade knives and returned to the billiard hall to beat Son.

Hearing that Nha was fighting, Tran Duc Huy (Nha's younger brother) invited Le Phuoc Bao to King billiards club to help. There, Nha slashed Nguyen Huu Toan (Son's friend) and slashed Son's head many times. Huy and Bao also used a billiards cue to hit Toan and Son.

According to the assessment results, Nguyen Huu Toan suffered 17% injury and Doan Cong Son suffered 5% injury.

The People's Court of Da Nang City sentenced Tran Ba Nha to 10 years in prison, Tran Duc Huy to 6 years in prison and Le Phuoc Bao to 4 years and 6 months for the crime of "Murder".
