Candy truck burst into flames on National Highway 1A

On August 4, authorities in Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh province said they were investigating the cause of a truck that caught fire while passing through the area.

According to initial information, at around 3:40 a.m. on August 4, at Km 570+700, the Ky Anh town bypass (Ha Tinh) - the section passing through Hung Tri ward, truck with license plate 36H - 030.52 driven by driver Tran Xuan Thuy (owner of the vehicle is Mai Xuan Dinh, residing in Nga Thuy commune, Nga Son district, Thanh Hoa province) in the direction from North to South, suddenly caught fire and burned fiercely.

Discovering the car on fire, the driver pulled over to the side of the road, stopped the car, got out, and called the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, the Vung Ang Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team (Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ha Tinh Police) dispatched 2 specialized vehicles and 12 officers and soldiers to put out the fire.

Because the truck was carrying candy and rolls of plastic, the fire broke out fiercely and it took the fire department 20 minutes to put out the fire.

Fortunately, the fire did not cause any casualties, but the property on the vehicle (candy, plastic rolls) was completely damaged.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
