Building Dong Thai commune to develop comprehensively in a civilized, modern and sustainable direction

On August 24 and 25, the Dong Thai Commune Party Committee (An Giang Province) held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee Pham Hoang Nam attended and directed the congress.

Speaking at the congress, Standing Committee member and Head of the Organizing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Pham Hoang Nam acknowledged, praised and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee and people of Dong Thai commune in the past term.

To successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the coming term, comrade Pham Hoang Nam requested the Dong Thai Commune Party Committee to strengthen Party building and rectification, and a clean and strong political system in all aspects; and improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and Party members.

Mobilize all resources to the maximum, exploit potentials and advantages; focus on comprehensive and sustainable socio -economic development; pay attention to cultural and human development, ensure social security; determined to build Dong Thai commune to develop comprehensively in a civilized, modern and sustainable direction, contributing to the overall development of the province.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee to appoint the Dong Thai Commune Party Executive Committee with 28 members and the Commune Party Standing Committee with 11 members. Comrade Le Thi Hong Tuoi was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Dong Thai Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Previously, on August 24, at the preparatory session, the Dong Thai Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term launched a fundraising campaign to support people in the Northern and North Central provinces affected by floods. The total amount of money donated by delegates attending the congress was more than 18 million VND.
