According to the forecast of the Vietnam Coffee - Cocoa Association, coffee prices from now until the end of 2024 will be relatively stable.
In order to improve coffee productivity and quality, adapt to the European Union's deforestation-free production regulations, in the coming time, provincial departments, districts and cities will continue to promote propaganda activities, mobilizing people to apply sustainable farming according to international standards. At the same time, promote coffee replanting and improvement and introduce high-yield, high-quality varieties that adapt to climate change into production; promote the application of scientific and technical advances in planting, caring, harvesting, preliminary processing, processing, and preservation according to the sustainable and safe coffee chain, associated with environmental protection, contributing to maintaining the Son La coffee brand and affirming the position of Son La coffee on the world coffee map.
Recognizing the results that Son La coffee industry has achieved in recent times, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong - Vice Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee directed that, in order to improve coffee productivity and quality, adapt to the European Union's deforestation-free production regulations, Son La districts and cities continue to promote propaganda activities, mobilizing people to apply sustainable farming according to international standards.
