Yen Tho commune has nearly 23 thousand people receiving Independence Day gifts.

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the afternoon of August 31, Yen Tho commune organized a gift giving ceremony for local people in accordance with the policy in Resolution No. 263/NQ-CP dated August 29, 2025 of the Government on giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

People of Yen Tho commune come to the location to receive Independence Day gifts.

According to the review, in Yen Tho commune, there are 5,187 households with 22,847 people receiving Independence Day gifts. To ensure the gift giving is public, transparent, targeted and timely, the commune has mobilized the participation of the entire political system, promoting the role, responsibility and initiative of local departments, offices and units.

Yen Tho Commune established a Joint Steering Group and 29 Working Groups in charge of villages to carry out the work of reviewing, guiding and giving gifts to the people.

The locality strives to complete the gift giving this afternoon, August 31, so that people can enjoy Independence Day.
