This is the sharing of Mr. Lang Duc Quyen, a researcher at the Xinhua News Agency's World Affairs Research Center, former Head of the Xinhua News Agency's Resident Bureau in Vietnam, when interviewed by a VNA reporter in China. According to Mr. Lang Duc Quyen, President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style are the crystallization of the creative application of Marxism-Leninism to the Vietnamese revolutionary practice, a model for generations and a guiding light for the Vietnamese revolutionary cause. Sharing his thoughts on the role and significance of President Ho Chi Minh's ideology and style for Vietnam's development achievements today, Mr. Lang Duc Quyen commented that "He is the soul of the entire Vietnamese nation", leading the Party, State and people of Vietnam firmly on the path of national independence and socialism. This guidance helps build and maintain people's confidence that Vietnam will successfully complete the major goals and tasks set by the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Assessing the contemporary value of the contents of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament, expert Lang Duc Quyen said that the Testament is very rich in content, in which from the beginning he mentioned all aspects of Party building and rectification. This shows that President Ho Chi Minh always gave top priority to building the ruling Party. Entering the period of renovation, the Communist Party of Vietnam considered socio-economic development as the central task, Party building and rectification as the key task. According to him, in the process of building and developing the country, the Communist Party of Vietnam has always closely followed and implemented Ho Chi Minh's ideology, making efforts to carry out the instructions in his Testament. The important achievements that Vietnam has achieved in recent years are thanks to the Communist Party of Vietnam promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation and stepping up the fight against corruption and negativity. Mr. Lang Duc Quyen affirmed that as an outstanding soldier of the international communist and workers' movement, the issue of international solidarity in President Ho Chi Minh's Testament still holds true today. By following this testament, Vietnam will create a favorable international environment, contributing to the realization of the goal of industrialization and modernization in the country, creating a new development miracle, bringing Vietnam on par with the world powers as he wished.
