Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank ( VPBank ) and Amata Ha Long Urban Joint Stock Company (Amata City Ha Long) have just held a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement and a credit contract to finance the investment project to build Song Khoai Industrial Park, Quang Ninh province, phase 2-5. Attending the ceremony were representatives of the leaders of the parties including Amata VN Public Joint Stock Company, Amata Ha Long and VPBank.
According to the cooperation agreement, VPBank will be the credit institution approving a credit of 75 million USD (equivalent to 1,910 billion VND) to finance the Song Khoai Industrial Park (IP) phase 2-5 project implemented by Amata City Ha Long. This exclusive credit will be disbursed within 3 years according to the project progress and has a loan term of 8 years. The goal of the agreement is to develop Song Khoai IP into one of the key industrial parks in the Northern region.
At the same time, the parties are committed to sustainable and beneficial cooperation in many areas of operation. The two parties will prioritize the use of each other's products and services, especially promoting cooperation in the fields of capital financing, payment services, cash flow management, international payments and trade finance... This cooperation creates the premise and favorable conditions for both parties to improve financial capacity, competitiveness and have more opportunities to access financial solutions to develop business operations.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Aukkares Choochouy - Member of the Board of Directors of Amata VN expressed his thanks to VPBank for this support and cooperation. At the same time, he also emphasized Amata's commitment to developing Amata City Ha Long into one of the leading modern industrial parks and an ideal destination for international investors in Vietnam.

Located in Quang Ninh province, Song Khoai Industrial Park possesses many outstanding advantages such as tax incentives, convenient connection to the highway and close to Hai Phong port and Cat Bi airport, helping to significantly improve the efficiency of logistics activities.
The project is expected to be a driving force for annual economic growth in Quang Ninh province and the Northern region, contributing to creating favorable conditions to attract more foreign direct investment (FDI), developing supporting industries, contributing thousands of billions of VND to the State budget each year, and creating stable, long-term jobs for local workers.
Over the years, VPBank has focused on financing sustainable industrial development, aiming at smart industrial parks, advanced digital infrastructure and ESG (Environment, Society, Governance) initiatives. In 2024, total outstanding green credit at VPBank will reach VND21,943 billion, up 48.5% year-on-year, mainly driven by loans for low-carbon transport, green buildings, recycling/circular economy, sustainable agriculture and forestry and renewable energy. In 2025, VPBank also plans to accelerate growth in this area.
