Vietnam Airlines promotes tourism in new publication

VnExpressVnExpress16/06/2023

Vietnam Airlines launched the Heritage Guide travel guide to help passengers "pocket" useful travel information when coming to Vietnam, from June 15.

The publication will be published every two months on all domestic and international flights operated by Vietnam Airlines, and released for free on Heritage Magazine's website through online reading and e-book formats.

Mr. Dang Anh Tuan, Head of Communications of Vietnam Airlines, said that the Heritage Guide publication not only provides information about experiential activities but also helps visitors feel the beauty of the people and culture at the destination. From there, visitors will find joy and inspiration from new discoveries , whether they are on a short or long trip. The first issue of the Heritage Guide introduces visitors to information for their journey to explore the capital city of Hanoi.

According to Mr. Dang Anh Tuan, the publication was built as a companion for travelers on Vietnam Airlines flights, aiming to be a useful, friendly and modern handbook. "We hope this new publication will help passengers ' travel journeys across the S-shaped strip of land become easier and more comfortable," said Mr. Tuan.

As the national airline, Vietnam Airlines always focuses on spreading Vietnamese cultural values to the world through "touch points", from brand identity such as the golden lotus logo or flight attendants' ao dai uniforms to meals with a strong Vietnamese culinary style or publications and videos shown on flights.

In 2022, the company invested in a flight safety instruction film and a music video Hurry Up , spreading the cultural values and tourism beauty of the country and people of Vietnam. Both products impressed passengers in particular and the public in general and received a national award for foreign information organized by the Central Propaganda Department.

The airline representative said that preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural identity has always been one of the priorities throughout the formation and development of the unit. In the coming time, Vietnam Airlines will continue to upgrade, especially in the service sector, to both bring passengers convenient and modern services and demonstrate the unique cultural features of Vietnam.
