Vietjet joins hands to bring dream houses to the people of Lang Nu

On the morning of December 22, the inauguration and handover ceremony of the Lang Nu resettlement area, Bao Yen district, Lao Cai province took place, bringing joy to dozens of households right before the Lunar New Year.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the event, along with the support of the Tam Long Viet Fund under Vietnam Television, businesses, and philanthropists joining hands to implement this project.

A new beginning with dreamy stilt houses

The resettlement area in Lang Nu appears in the early morning sunlight, beautiful as a dream with solid concrete stilt houses, spacious roads and colorful flower gardens. Each house is fully furnished, neat; brand new curtains have just been installed, bringing a cozy and private feeling.

Vietjet Air is one of the pioneers supporting and contributing to the construction of resettlement areas for people in Lao Cai. Mr. Do Xuan Quang - Deputy General Director of Vietjet shared: "The houses are not only a place to shelter from the rain and sun, but also a foundation for people to feel secure in building a new life."

Vietjet's sharing journey

Immediately after storm No. 3, more than 8,000 Vietjet staff, both domestic and international, contributed to support people in the northern provinces who suffered losses. The airline not only donated cash but also deducted 5,000 VND from each air ticket sold in September 2024 to support people.

At the same time, Vietjet has waived all transportation fees for relief goods from organizations and individuals, bringing hundreds of tons of necessities and medicine to people in flood-hit areas. This is a clear demonstration of Vietjet's sense of social responsibility since its establishment.

Lighting up hope from new homes

On this occasion, the Prime Minister presented 150 houses to poor households living in temporary and dilapidated houses in Lao Cai province, sponsored by the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, Sovico Group and other units.
