Vietnam and China enter the final round of the 2025 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival

On the afternoon of June 29, the Organizing Committee of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2025 met and announced the two excellent fireworks teams that will compete in the final night taking place on the evening of July 12: team Z121 Vina Pyrotech (Vietnam) and team Jiangxi Yanfeng (China).

After the qualifying round, both teams excellently received absolute scores from the Jury consisting of artist representatives, art experts and consulting units.

According to the Organizing Committee, the scoring criteria for each team's performance are based on: originality, design ideas and performance themes; creativity, diversity and richness of effects and color intensity; choice of music , synchronization between music and performance; ending and quality of performance; emotion and evaluation of the judges.

The performances of the two teams Z121 Vina Pyrotech and Jiangxi Yanfeng were two breakthrough performances, harmoniously combining high technology and distinct cultural identity, while expressing the spirit of the general theme of DIFF 2025: "Da Nang - New Era."

The Organizing Committee also said that the scale of DIFF 2025 is the largest ever, with 10 competing teams from Vietnam, Finland, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Poland, South Korea, Italy, Canada, and China.

Each team brings its own color, combining fireworks performance art, music and cultural stories typical of their country.

The superiority of many new teams and the level of experienced teams from previous DIFFs made selecting two teams to enter the finals extremely challenging for the Jury.

Commenting on the two teams that made it to the final round, artist Luong Xuan Doan, Chairman of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and member of the DIFF 2025 Jury, said: “The final night is still a mystery. Both teams had excellent performances in the qualifying round and they need to prepare and innovate to create a different impression on the night of July 12.

But the audience can fully expect an explosive final night. The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival is increasingly becoming an attractive destination for many teams from many countries."

Also on the afternoon of June 29, the Organizing Committee conducted a draw for the performance order in the final night. Accordingly, Jiangxi Yanfeng - China will be the first performing team and Z121 Vina Pyrotech - Vietnam will be the second.

In the final competition night of DIFF 2025, each team will receive nearly 7,000 fireworks from the Organizing Committee and create a performance based on the number of fireworks provided.

With the theme “Welcoming the New Era,” the final night promises to bring eye-catching performances, demonstrating the vision and aspirations of the city on the Han River.

The DIFF 2025 award system will be announced and awarded at the final night, including: DIFF 2025 Champion Prize worth 20,000 USD and Cup; Runner-up Prize worth 10,000 USD and Most Favorite Team Prize (voted by the audience) worth 5,000 USD.

In particular, because this year all the competing teams performed impressively and creatively, with quality that is considered superior to previous years, the DIFF 2025 Organizing Committee decided to add the Creativity Award and the Prospective Award worth 5,000 USD.

The final night of DIFF 2025 will officially take place at 8:00 p.m. on July 12, at the fireworks stand on the banks of the poetic Han River.

Z121 Vina Pyrotech, also known as Chemical 21 One Member Limited Liability Company, under the General Department of Defense Industry - Ministry of Defense , is a veteran in the field of fireworks production and display in Vietnam.

With over 50 years of experience and achievements in major national events, this year marks the first time the team has entered the international fireworks arena at DIFF with a modern and creative performance style.

Z121 Vina Pyrotech's opponent in the final match is Jiangxi Yanfeng team - a representative from China, also the current runner-up of DIFF 2024.

Returning this season with the desire to conquer the highest position, the Chinese team affirmed their class in the third qualifying round with a creative performance called "Journey to the West Side Story."./.
