On August 21, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, the Vietnam Space Center held a ceremony to attach a sign and inaugurate the Vietnam Space Museum at the Hoa Lac High-Tech Park.

Vietnam Space Museum has more than 1,500 m² of outdoor space and 1,600 m² of indoor space with 2 floors, modern design, inspired by the vastness of the universe. The space is combined with lighting effects, advanced simulation techniques and meticulously crafted satellite, planet and rocket model systems. The exhibits are arranged in chronological order - from the formation of the universe to current achievements and future orientations. The project promises to become an educational destination, inspiring passion for space science, especially in the young generation.

The Vietnam Space Museum is not only a modern architectural work, but also the crystallization of the Vietnamese people's intelligence, creativity and desire to conquer the sky. This is a comprehensive experience space about space science - where we can go back in time to learn about the formation of the universe, to explore today's advanced technologies.
Construction started in October 2022, the project has an area of over 3,000 m², including indoor and outdoor display spaces, divided into 5 main areas: Outdoor space: displaying a unique Solar System model and sundial.
Floor 1: introduces basic science experiments on light, sound, gravity; along with the solar system, planets, stars and galaxies.
Floor 2: Space technology area: displays LOTUSat-1 satellite model, Vietnamese satellites developed, international rocket model and ISS capsule.
Space Technology Application Zone: introduces the role of space technology in life, from weather forecasting to communications and global positioning.
Astronomical Tower: with 500mm diameter optical reflecting telescope, providing a clear sky observation experience.
Space projection house: dome shape, 12 m diameter, capacity of 100 people, combining sound and vivid images.
In addition, the museum also connects Vietnamese culture and history with space through ancient star maps, simulated bronze drums, and familiar legends such as Cuoi, Nguu Lang - Chuc Nu, expressing the nation's desire to conquer space.
It is known that after the opening ceremony, the Vietnam Space Museum will plan to open for trial tours.
