The multi- sport event including Aqua Warriors Quang Tri 2025 on August 2 and Quang Tri International Marathon 2025 - Camel Cup on August 3, organized by Dan Tri newspaper and Bolt Event, will officially start in less than 24 hours.

This morning (August 1), many athletes experienced the test swimming course at the Aqua Warriors Quang Tri 2025 tournament (taking place on the morning of August 2) at Bao Ninh beach (Dong Hoi, Quang Tri). All swimming competitions of all distances will be held at the beach area connecting to Hoang Van walking street, in the Regal Legend international tourist urban area.
With a wide open sea surface, clear blue water and terrain suitable for outdoor sports activities, the swimming area is designed to ensure both safety and professional competition experience. This is also a location that has been highly appreciated for its ability to organize large-scale marine sports competitions.
After the swimming competition, the athletes will enter the running competition on Vo Nguyen Giap route, a prominent coastal road in Quang Tri province. With a flat, spacious and well-paved road surface, this route was chosen to ensure maximum performance as well as safety for the athletes.

Many young athletes were excited about the swimming course at the tournament. Athlete Nguyen An Thai (13 years old) excitedly said: “The weather is very nice today. I think the swimming course is very nice and suitable for competing tomorrow. I am ready to participate in the Sprint Aqua Warriors competition.”
Athlete Nguyen Khue (10 years old, competing in the Junior Aqua Warriors category) continued his brother's words: "I think this year's swimming lane is beautifully designed and quite easy to swim. Compared to the tournament in Ha Long, the water is clearer and there are not many waves to hinder my competition."
Tran Duc Hoang (18 years old) and his mother flew from Hanoi to Quang Tri to compete in the very tough event of the Olympic Aqua Warriors. Before experiencing the swimming competition, Duc Hoang practiced climbing sand dunes to improve his health.
During the swimming experience this morning, Duc Hoang “swallowed” the 1.5km swim distance quite easily. He shared: “The water today is clear, the waves are not too strong. In Ha Long, I found the water colder than here. Overall, the difficulty level of the two tournaments in Ha Long and Quang Tri is the same. I will try to improve my performance.”

Ms. Hanh Nguyen (38 years old) discovered something interesting about Bao Ninh beach swimming route: “The swimming route is very beautiful, the waves are calm. The current flows from left to right, creating favorable conditions for athletes. I find the swimming route here more enjoyable than Ha Long. In particular, when swimming about 100m, I saw a sandbar, where there were many starfish. That made the swimming route more interesting. People can clearly see the bottom when swimming out to the sandbar. It looks very interesting”.
The Aqua Warriors Quang Tri tournament has the following events: Kids Aqua Warriors (150m swim and 1km run), Junior Aqua Warriors (300m swim and 2km run), Sprint Aqua Warriors (750m swim and 5km run), Olympic Aqua Warriors (1.5km swim and 10km run). The final event is Open Water Swimming (1.5km swim).
