Taking place from July 17-23, after a week of exciting competition, the 2023 National Youth Wushu Championship officially concluded at the Gia Lai Provincial Sports Center. The Thai Binh athletes won 7 medals at the tournament.

The Thai Binh delegation included 15 athletes competing in the following categories: tai chi sword, tai chi chuan, women's spear technique, women's sword technique, and women's sandshanda. In particular, athlete Vu Thi Minh Anh won a gold medal in the tai chi sword category. In addition, the Thai Binh delegation won 5 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.
The tournament is an opportunity to evaluate the training of young wushu athletes. Through the tournament, the coaching staff will prepare for the National Wushu Championship for strong teams to take place in Quang Nam province in October 2023.

The 2023 National Youth Wushu Championship is a tournament within the national competition system jointly organized by the Department of Physical Training and Sports (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province. The tournament attracted more than 470 martial artists from 31 units nationwide to participate.
