Attending the program were comrades: Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneers; Nguyen Thi Bach Mai, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Ngo Minh Hai, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union.

At the program, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union Le Tuan Anh reminded the volunteers to always uphold their sense of responsibility, seriously study the process and expertise in supporting people, and absolutely not be subjective and negligent. In order to spread good deeds, build affection, and closely connect with the people, demonstrating the spirit of "When you live, the people love you, when you do, the people trust you, when you go, the people remember you".

The Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union also suggested that the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of wards, communes, and special zones synchronously deploy youth volunteer teams to support local authorities at two levels and provide online public services at the grassroots level.
After the launching ceremony, the atmosphere at the Public Administration Service Centers of wards, communes, and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City became bustling with the green volunteer shirts. The union members and youth quickly divided into groups to support people in getting queue numbers, performing tasks related to online public services; digitizing records...

Coming to the Xuan Hoa Ward Public Administration Service Center to complete procedures to repair her business store, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hieu (born in 1954) felt extremely satisfied. “The officers, civil servants, and volunteers here support me in completing administrative procedures quickly and neatly. All my concerns and questions were answered and clearly advised,” Ms. Hieu said.

Opening her phone, Ms. Hieu introduced us to a section called “Merger” that she had compiled herself. It contained information about the new headquarters, a list of key leaders of Xuan Hoa, Ban Co, Nhieu Loc wards, and the meaning of the ward names... “I want to have a clear understanding of the information so that it is easy to follow and look up when needed. If the people in the neighborhood do not yet have this information, I am willing to share more,” Ms. Hieu confided.
Cao Phuong Hieu, a Green Summer campaign soldier from Ho Chi Minh City Open University, was busy helping people get queue numbers, filling out application forms, and guiding them to specialized counters. “Not only me, but all the volunteers were very excited and grateful to be able to contribute to supporting the people,” Phuong Hieu shared.

At the Phu Nhuan Ward Public Administration Service Center, Pham Khanh Duy diligently guides people to log in to their VNeID accounts. “Many older people are not familiar with using phones or forget their passwords, we are always ready to help them create new passwords,” Duy shared.
As soon as she entered the Phu Nhuan Ward Public Administration Service Center, Ms. Ho Ngoc My (80 years old) was welcomed by a volunteer, given a queue number and guided to the check-in counter. After completing the extraction of a copy of the birth certificate for her daughter living abroad, Ms. My happily said: “I am old and not used to using technology. Thanks to the help of the cadres, union members and youth, I was able to complete the procedures. I am so happy!”

Chairwoman of Phu Nhuan Ward People's Committee Nguyen Thi Nhu Y said that the number of people coming to do administrative procedures in recent days was quite large. However, thanks to the careful preparation of facilities, personnel and the support of a team of volunteers, all work went very smoothly.
“I hope this volunteer team will join hands with the locality to deploy digital government more strongly and effectively, aiming to successfully implement the 2-level local government model,” Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Y shared.
These volunteer teams will carry out their duties from July 7 to August 30, 2025 at 168 Public Administration Service Centers of wards, communes and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City.
