
According to the Hydrometeorological Station, from 10:00 a.m. on June 11 to 10:00 a.m. on June 13, localities in the province will have moderate to heavy rain. Heavy rain will mainly be concentrated tonight, June 11, to tomorrow, June 12. Total rainfall in mountainous areas is generally from 70-150mm, with some places over 200mm. In plain areas, it is generally from 100-200mm, with some places over 250mm. In the next 48 to 72 hours, the rain will gradually decrease and the heavy rain will end.
This morning, June 11, the water level on Vu Gia - Thu Bon and Tam Ky rivers is changing slowly and is below alert level 1 (BĐ1).
It is forecasted that from tonight, June 11 to June 13, 2025, rivers in Quang Nam province are likely to experience a flood with a flood amplitude in the upstream reaching 1-3m, and downstream reaching 0.5-1.5m.
Specifically, the flood peak on Vu Gia River is below BĐ1 to above BĐ1; on Thu Bon River is below BĐ1 to BĐ1, on Tam Ky River is below BĐ1 to BĐ1.
The provincial Hydrometeorological Station warned of the risk of flash floods, landslides, and inundation in densely populated areas and low-lying areas, negatively affecting production, people's lives and property; and affecting socio -economic activities of localities in the province.
