Information from the former Faculty of Medicine (now the University of Health Sciences) said that this year the school recruited 475 students for 5 university-level training majors, including: medicine (150 regular students and 80 students on order), dentistry (50 students), pharmacy (50 students), traditional medicine (75 students) and nursing (150 students).

University of Health Sciences applies 9 admission methods, including:

PT1 (method code 501): Admission based on the results of the 2024 capacity assessment test and high school academic results.

- Target: 5% - 10% of total industry target;

- Admission score = 2024 National High School Graduation Exam score organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University * 60% + Average score of the average scores of subjects in 3 years of grades 10, 11, 12 on a scale of 1200 * 40%

PT2 (method code 301, 303): Direct admission according to the current regular university admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and priority for direct admission according to the regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University.

- Target: 5% of total industry target;

- Subject 1 (direct admission according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training): Admission according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training;

- Subject 2 (priority for direct admission according to regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University): Admission score = Total score of 3 subjects Math, Chemistry, Biology in 3 years of grades 10, 11, 12 (9 columns of scores).

PT3 (method code 502): Admission based on international exam results (SAT, ACT, IB, A-level or equivalent).

- Target: 10% of total industry target;

- Admission score = International certificate exam score (converted to a 100-point scale and rounded to 2 decimal places)

PT4 (method code 503): Admission of university graduates in related fields

- Target: 5% of total industry target;

- Admission score = Cumulative university graduation score (converted to a 10-point scale and rounded to 2 decimal places)

PT5 (method code 504): Combining high school academic results and professional diplomas and certificates

- Target: 5% of total industry target;

- Admission score = Total score of 3 subjects Math, Chemistry, Biology in 3 years of grades 10, 11, 12 (9 columns of scores).

PT6 (method code 302): Priority admission according to regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2024: 15% - 20% of total quota of the industry

- Target: 15% - 20% of total industry target;

- Admission score = Total score of 3 subjects Math, Chemistry, Biology in 3 years of grades 10, 11, 12 (9 columns of scores).

PT7 (method code 401): Admission based on the results of the 2024 National University of Ho Chi Minh City's National High School Exam:

- Target: 45% of total industry target;

- Admission score = 2024 National High School Exam score organized by VNU-HCM + Priority score for subjects and regions on a 1200-point scale (if any).

- Candidates register for admission at the same time as registering for the second round of the National High School Exam organized by VNU-HCM in 2024.

PT8 (method code 100): Admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam

- Target: >5% of total industry target;

- Admission score = Exam score according to subject group B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology) + Priority score for subject and region on a 30-point scale (if any).

PT9 (method code 409): Combining the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam and international English certificate

- Target:

- Admission score = Exam score according to subject group B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology) + Priority score for subject and region on a 30-point scale (if any).
