On the morning of August 26, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Hoang Viet Viet, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea Drang commune, Dak Lak province confirmed that he had received information about parents' reactions to the plan of Ly Tu Trong Primary School in the commune to change uniforms for the new school year.
According to Mr. Viet, through understanding, this is just a discussion, no specific document has been issued about the school changing uniforms and the commune has directed to immediately stop this implementation.

"At the beginning of the new school year, the People's Committee of the commune thoroughly grasped the issue of revenue and expenditure at schools, avoiding overcharging. The People's Committee's viewpoint is to practice thrift in many areas, avoiding waste, including sewing more school uniforms," affirmed the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea Drang commune.
Previously, some parents whose children study at Ly Tu Trong Primary School posted on social media stories about the "colorful" school, which requires students to wear three different uniforms of different colors to school each week.
According to parents' feedback, in 2023-2024, Ly Tu Trong Primary School will have yellow uniforms (without logo) for students.
By the 2024-2025 school year, the school has agreed to purchase additional orange uniforms with logos for students.

At the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year, Ly Tu Trong Primary School will continue to change its uniform to light brown pants or skirts and green shirts.
In addition to blue pants, white shirt, and gym clothes, the school also has 3 more uniform shirts: yellow, orange, and blue.
Recently, on the Zalo group, the school teacher announced: "Wear blue shirts on Monday and Wednesday; orange shirts on Tuesday and Thursday; and white, blue, or orange shirts on Friday. On days when there is physical education, wear physical education clothes."
With this announcement, some parents admitted to being confused and dazzled by the school's strange uniform style and protested against it.
Mr. Nguyen Tran Quan, Principal of Ly Tu Trong Primary School, admitted that the school has stopped purchasing blue uniforms for students.

Mr. Quan explained that at the end of the 2024-2025 school year, the parents' association discussed and implemented blue uniforms priced at VND145,000/set to build the "school brand". However, when the implementation began, some parents reacted.
"Most of the school's parents agreed, only a few parents disagreed. Therefore, the school decided not to continue and will return the ordered items to the manufacturer, hoping they will understand," Mr. Quan expressed.
The principal of Ly Tu Trong Primary School added that in 2023-2024, the school was chosen as a place to promote the STEM movement and the school's students participated in the "STEM festival", so instead of renting costumes, the school and parents agreed to buy yellow shirts for the students.
The school uniform will be implemented from the 2024-2025 school year with orange shirts and logos. The school has planned to implement blue uniforms but has stopped.
"The announcement on the school's team leader's zalo group was a bit hasty because the school had not yet implemented it. Our school would like to learn from this unfortunate incident," said the principal of Ly Tu Trong Primary School.
