Quang Nam College held a seminar on cooperation with a college in the Philippines

DNO - On August 8, a delegation from the Software Development Center - Danang University and Western Leyte College (Philippines) visited and discussed cooperation with Quang Nam College.

At the seminar, Dr. Nguyen Ha Huy Cuong, Director of the Software Development Center, introduced Western Leyte College's cooperation with Quang Nam College.

Dr. Nguyen Ha Huy Cuong briefly introduced the cooperation activities between the Software Development Center and Western Leyte College; evaluated the cooperation results between the center and Quang Nam College in recent times.

Representative of Western Leyte College, Ms. Cherry, Head of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Technology, said that the school was established 78 years ago, training in many professions such as: accounting, hotel tourism , preschool and elementary education, business administration and currently focusing on developing the information technology industry.

The school also offers doctoral, master's and bachelor's degrees; and provides vocational certificates with a validity of 2 years.

Western Leyte College wishes to cooperate with Quang Nam College in capacity building for lecturers and student training, especially cooperation in English language training and digital transformation. The college will support lecturers of Quang Nam College to study long-term in the Philippines.

Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Phuong Anh, Principal of Quang Nam College, affirmed that the cooperative relationship with the Software Development Center contributes to improving the school's training quality in the field of digital transformation and application of digital technology in administration and teaching.

Quang Nam College wishes to expand cooperation with foreign partners such as Western Leyte College in the field of vocational education.

Since 2023, the cooperation between Quang Nam College and Philippine partners has been strengthened. The school has signed many memorandums of understanding with Philippine universities, opening up opportunities for student and faculty exchange and joint research.

Development orientation to 2030, vision to 2045, Quang Nam College will be a high-quality school. In which, it focuses on improving the quality of training and applied research according to international standards, building output standards according to the national qualification framework, developing flexible programs, promoting applied research and perfecting the quality assurance system.

After the discussion between the Software Development Center, Western Leyte College and Quang Nam College, the parties continued to finalize the memorandum of understanding to sign a cooperation agreement in the future.
