Head of Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board visits and presents gifts to policy families and meritorious people in An Lao district

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), on the morning of July 24, comrade Le Trung Kien, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board visited and presented gifts to policy families and meritorious people in An Lao district. Accompanying him were representatives of the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, the City Military Command, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, and An Lao district.
Comrade Le Trung Kien, Head of Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, visited and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Chi Thiet, a resistance activist who was imprisoned and exiled by the enemy, in Tien Hoi village, An Tien commune, and visited and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Phi, a 2/4 war invalid, in Xuan Ang residential group, Truong Son town.
At the families he visited, the Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board inquired about their health and life, and expressed his gratitude for the sacrifices of the resistance fighters and wounded soldiers for the cause of national liberation. He hoped that they and their families and future generations would continue to uphold the fine traditions of the nation and make many contributions to the construction and development of the locality.
The Head of Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board also requested An Lao district to continue to have many activities to care for, show gratitude and support people with meritorious services and policy families in the area.
