On the morning of July 21, comrade Nguyen Dinh Chuyen, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the Hai Phong City Party Committee, and a working delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of Mrs. Tran Thi Dung (born in 1939) in Kim Can village, Ha Nam commune.

Mrs. Dung is the wife of martyr Nguyen Xuan Ngoan - who heroically sacrificed his life in the resistance war against America to save the country in the Quang Tri battlefield.

Over the years, Mrs. Tran Thi Dung has always lived an exemplary life, actively participating in local social activities.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Chuyen kindly asked about his health, encouraged his spirit and sent his deep gratitude to Mr. Dung and the relatives of martyr Nguyen Xuan Ngoan.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Chuyen, Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the City Party Committee, emphasized that the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Phong City always respect and remember the contributions of heroic martyrs and those with meritorious services. The city will continue to better implement the policies of "repaying gratitude", taking care of the material and spiritual life of policy beneficiaries, especially on the occasion of the annual anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27.
