Regiment 320, Dong Thap Provincial Military Command participates in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters

(ABO) On the morning of July 23, following the direction of the Dong Thap Provincial Military Command, Regiment 320 mobilized more than 100 officers and soldiers of Battalion 502 to Ba Sao commune and affected areas to promptly help people overcome the severe consequences of the storm that occurred on the night of July 22.

In Ba Sao commune, the storm completely blew off the roofs of 12 houses and partially damaged 15 houses in hamlets 3 and 4, with an estimated damage of about 800 million VND. On the inter-hamlet road about 1.5 km long, a series of trees were broken, causing local traffic jams, seriously affecting people's lives and production. In addition to Ba Sao commune, My Ngai and My Tra wards also suffered heavy damage, with more than 100 houses collapsed and had their roofs blown off, causing heavy damage.

Under the direct command of the Party Committee and the Command Board of Regiment 320, officers and soldiers of Battalion 502 quickly mobilized to the scene, coordinated with local Party Committees and authorities to clean up fallen trees, support people in rebuilding houses, temporarily covering them, and moving their assets to a safe place. During the entire process of carrying out their tasks, officers and soldiers always upheld their sense of responsibility, urgency, dedication and wholeheartedness for the people.
