Delegates visit the exhibition space

The event was held to commemorate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), with the participation of representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, unions and a large number of youth union members.

The exhibition focuses on three main themes: The birth of War Invalids and Martyrs Day; Relics from the War Era; Continuing the Tradition. Viewers have the opportunity to approach 80 images, documents and nearly 40 typical artifacts focusing on introducing the birth of War Invalids and Martyrs Day July 27; the attention of the Party, the State and all classes of people to the work of gratitude and repayment.

According to the Hue City Museum of History, through documents and artifacts, the heroic years of struggle of the nation will be recalled. Each relic is associated with a touching story about a time of fire and smoke of the nation, about life, about the fighting spirit and the noble sacrifice of the soldiers, the people who made glorious victories to contribute to adding more color to the golden history of the nation.

Before the opening of the exhibition, delegates attended the incense offering and flower offering ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the Chin Ham historical site.

On the same day, Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan, City Party Committee member, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, President of the City Women's Union visited and gave gifts to the surviving members of the 11 Song Huong Girls Squad .

Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan kindly asked about the health and spirit of the ladies, and at the same time expressed her deep gratitude for the contributions of the generation of people who contributed to the cause of national liberation.

On this occasion, the City Women's Union presented 20 gifts to members and women who are policy families in communes and wards. In the localities, the Women's Unions of communes and wards gathered members to participate in cleaning, burning incense in gratitude at martyrs' cemeteries; visiting, encouraging and presenting gifts to policy families, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and martyrs' families in the area.

At Huong Dien Martyrs' Cemetery, leaders of Phong Thai and Kim Tra wards, along with local departments, branches and organizations, offered incense and laid wreaths to commemorate the heroic martyrs .

Over the years, inheriting and promoting the tradition of "Repaying gratitude", the work of war invalids and martyrs has always received attention and care from the Party Committee, the government, and departments, branches, and organizations of Phong Thai and Kim Tra wards, such as: Mobilizing the construction and repair of hundreds of houses for families with preferential policies; caring for and helping war invalids and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; sponsoring children of families of martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers, Agent Orange victims, etc.; at the same time, renovating and restoring local martyrs' cemeteries, etc.
