Hanoi supports Dien Bien province with funding to build an inter-level school in Si Pa Phin commune.

On July 25, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Decision No. 3937/QD-UBND on supporting Dien Bien province with funding to invest in building a primary and secondary school in Si Pa Phin commune, Dien Bien province.

The two localities held an inauguration ceremony for the Hanoi -Dien Bien Phu Primary School after repairs and upgrades.

According to the Decision, Hanoi supports Dien Bien province with funding to invest in the construction of Si Pa Phin Primary and Secondary School, Dien Bien province, with a maximum of VND 220 billion in 2 years (2025-2026); allocates VND 100 billion from the city budget to support other localities in 2025 (development investment capital) assigned in Decision 6399/QD-UBND dated December 12, 2024 of the Hanoi People's Committee to support Dien Bien province in investing in the construction of the above project.

The City assigned the Department of Finance to transfer the above amount to the Dien Bien provincial budget according to the provisions of the State Budget Law; at the same time, advise the City People's Committee to report to the City People's Council on the support amount in 2025 and submit to the City People's Council to arrange the support capital plan in 2026.

Over the years, Dien Bien province has always received attention and support from Hanoi city, especially in the field of education and training.

For example, in 2011, Hanoi supported the province with 2.4 billion VND to build Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, and supported 3 billion VND to invest in the Board of Directors' house of the Provincial Continuing Education Center; in 2012, Hanoi city supported 9.989 billion VND to invest in building Sam Mun Kindergarten No. 2; in 2014, supported 9.935 billion VND to invest in building Sin Thau Primary School...

On April 25, 2024, the two localities jointly held the inauguration ceremony of the project to repair and upgrade the Hanoi-Dien Bien Phu Primary School in Dien Bien province. This is also a project supported by Hanoi city to Dien Bien province with a total investment of 65 billion VND.
