(QBĐT) - Since the beginning of 2025, Dong Hoi City has organized many series of events to celebrate major anniversaries combined with the Cultural-Tourism Week, so tourism, accommodation and dining activities have increased in terms of visitors as well as revenue.

Chairman of Dong Hoi City People's Committee Hoang Ngoc Dan said: Along with meeting the needs of food and accommodation for tourists with many standard tourist facilities, Dong Hoi City has focused on organizing many cultural activities, investing in many service points along the coast of Nhat Le, Quang Phu, Bao Ninh.

In particular, the Regal Beach Walk walking street complex and Regal Lake Walk night street of Regal Group in Bao Ninh commune are destinations for entertainment, shopping, and enjoying seafood cuisine at night, attracting a large number of locals as well as tourists when coming to Dong Hoi.

In nearly 6 months, revenue from accommodation, food and beverage and tourism services in the city is estimated at over 1,230 billion VND, up 13.6% over the same period. Of which, accommodation revenue reached over 266 billion VND, up 13.4% over the same period; food and beverage revenue reached 913 billion VND, up 13.8% over the same period; tourism revenue reached 53.2 billion VND, up 12% over the same period.

Up to now, there have been over 813 thousand tourists coming to the city, an increase of 14.7% over the same period.

Dong Hoi City invests in many service points attracting a large number of locals and tourists.

In the coming time, along with the implementation of administrative unit arrangement, localities in the area will continue to implement appropriate solutions to develop tourism services, increase revenue and attract visitors to visit and stay.
