Director of the Quang Trach District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office Nguyen Thanh Danh said: The highlight of the past term is that the unit has focused on directing many solutions to effectively implement credit programs. Thanks to that, credit has been guaranteed to grow rapidly, and quality has also been constantly improved. The capital growth in the past term accounted for 60.54% of the total capital; the overdue debt ratio is the lowest since the establishment of the Social Policy Bank.
Every year, the department has coordinated with socio -political organizations to receive the mandate to implement social policy credit programs for lending to poor households and policy beneficiaries, and at the same time coordinated and directed organizations in the network to promote disbursement of credit programs and urge the handling of overdue debts.

Thanks to that, in recent years, the district's VPB has performed well in lending to poor households and other policy beneficiaries. Up to now, the unit has implemented 17 credit programs with a total outstanding loan balance of VND 740.1 billion, an increase of VND 279.1 billion compared to the beginning of the term. The capital source has helped 22,683 customers borrow, with an average loan of VND 45.7 million/household. As one of the near-poor households in Quang Phu commune, thanks to access to social policy credit loans, Ms. Le Thi Cuc has gradually increased her income to escape near-poor households and become a household with a stable source of income. Ms. Cuc shared: Her family used to be very poor. Luckily, the Veterans Association and the village's savings and loan group introduced her to a preferential loan package for near-poor households, and she boldly borrowed 50 million VND to invest in raising cows. Thanks to that, her family's economy gradually improved. She not only paid the interest and principal every month but also had a stable source of income for daily living.
From 2020-2025, policy credit capital has helped more than 900 poor households, 1,309 near-poor households, and 1,752 newly escaped-poverty households borrow capital to invest in production and business; helped attract and create jobs for more than 2,600 workers, more than 300 students borrow capital to study, and helped 43 people who have completed their prison sentences borrow capital to produce, do business, and reintegrate into the community. |
