Hai Duong welcomed more than 2.2 million tourists in the first 6 months of the year

In the first 6 months of 2025, Hai Duong welcomed and served over 2.2 million visitors, with revenue reaching nearly 1,000 billion VND.

According to statistics from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong province, it is estimated that in the first 6 months of 2025, the whole province will welcome and serve about 2,291,561 visitors, an increase of 56% compared to 2024. Of which, international visitors will be 88,937, an increase of 126% compared to 2024; domestic visitors will be 2,202,624, an increase of 54% compared to 2024. Tourism revenue will reach VND 998.9 billion, an increase of 60% compared to 2024.

Hai Duong currently has 3,199 historical and cultural relics, of which 144 are ranked nationally, 4 are ranked as special national relics; 8 national treasures and 9 intangible cultural heritages are recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

In recent times, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong province has always been proactive and actively advised the province on many important documents to exploit and promote the local tourism potentials and strengths. The Department focuses on tourism promotion, product development and linkage to develop tourism products.

Therefore, since the beginning of 2025, Hai Duong has had many new tours formed, especially tours in the Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site such as: Experience Kiep Bac lotus, heritage journey, journey to conquer Ban Co Tien, journey to discover the mystery of Ngu Nhac Linh Tu associated with many experiential activities... In early June, the Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site launched Con Son green bean cake and Con Son honey products, serving the needs of tourists when visiting and worshiping.

In the last 6 months of 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong province will continue to implement many solutions to develop tourism products in the direction of focusing on specific tourism products, new tourism products, exploiting rural agricultural tourism products, resort tourism, and experiences to attract visitors. Along with that, Hai Duong also promotes cooperation with localities in the Red River Delta and other tourist areas and destinations to form intra-provincial and inter-provincial cultural and eco-tourism routes.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong province expect that the tourism potential of Hai Duong province will increasingly flourish, contributing practically to the socio-economic development of Hai Duong today and Hai Phong in the future.
