Giving meaningful gifts to poor students overcoming difficulties

* During 2 days from August 23 to 24, more than 100 bicycles worth over 200 million VND were supported by artist Tran Thao Hien, in Ho Chi Minh City, to send to poor students overcoming difficulties in the mountainous areas of Tuyen Quang province.

The bicycles were given to students of Tan Lap Primary Boarding School.

With the connection of teacher Trieu Thi Dao, teacher of Minh Khai Primary School, Ha Giang 2 Ward, the bicycles were given to 100 primary and secondary school students, in the communes: Dong Tam, Tan Quang, Bac Quang, Bang Hanh, Lien Hiep, Hung An, Quang Binh, Bac Quang and Ha Giang 2 Ward. It is meaningful that these gifts come to the students, including many students from ethnic minority areas, right on the occasion of preparing for the new school year 2025 - 2026.

It is known that, despite the difficulties in the highlands of Tuyen Quang province, students still walk many kilometers to class every day to fulfill their dream of studying. Over the years, artist Tran Thao Hien has supported many cases with difficult circumstances. The artist has given bicycles to students who have overcome difficulties and studied well, giving them more motivation to excel in their studies.

* On the afternoon of August 23, Xuan Giang commune coordinated with the Green Star Fund ( Bac Ninh ) to organize the program "Accompanying children to school" and "Supporting farmers - Golden harvest season".

Orphaned students in Xuan Giang Giang commune receive Green Star Fund scholarships.

The program “Accompanying children to school” originated from the “Godmother” movement launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Union, targeting orphans. During the implementation process, students in Xuan Giang commune always received timely attention and encouragement from the Green Star Fund.

Over the past 5 years, the Fund has accompanied orphaned children, giving them love and strength to go to school. Before the new school year, the Fund continues to be present in the commune, bringing meaningful gifts, sharing love, helping children reduce disadvantages and gain more confidence in their learning journey.

At the program, the Green Star Fund awarded 42 scholarships and gifts to orphaned students, students in difficult circumstances, who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies. Each student received a scholarship worth 400,000 VND/scholarship. In addition, 2 students with excellent achievements in the 2024-2025 school year received scholarships of 1 million VND/scholarship. The total amount awarded was 18 million VND.

Also on this occasion, Viet Han Joint Stock Company (Ninh Binh) sponsored 3 tons of fertilizer for 50 poor households in the commune.
